Battle of the Roses Armored Combat

Feb. 25, 2017

In preparation for the U.S. Nationals in Armored Combat that takes place at the end of March in Arizona, the local chapter out of Sacramento is hosting the Battle of Roses at the Placer County Fairgrounds.

Fighters from Northern and Southern California will be attending as well as the southwest and northwest regions.

There will be single duels that are individual technical fights. However, it is the melee that stands out, which is team against team fights in true medieval tournament fashion. Everything is historically accurate with no choreography and no pretend!

The gates will open at 10 a.m. and the fights start at 11 a.m. and should wrap up around 3 p.m.

To learn more about this brutal yet fascinating event come to 800 All American City Blvd. in Roseville on Saturday, Feb. 25.
