Mare Wakefield and Nomad tour this summer and fall playing songs from upcoming record Time to Fly (Jan 2018 release). The tour starts in the Midwest and circles the nation to end in Texas in early October.

Mare (pronounced "Mary") Wakefield and Nomad were 2016 and 2015 finalists at Kerrville's NewFolk Songwriting Competition (TX) and 2015 Emerging Artists at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival (NY). The Americana duo combines Mare's strength as an award-winning songwriter with Turkish-born, classically-trained Nomad's expert piano and accordion skills. Calling Nashville home while touring the US, this husband-and-wife team has earned a devoted fan-base that funded their last record via Kickstarter. Attendees of their live show can expect to hear songs off any of their six studio records, including the single "One More Breaking Heart" which has received over 30,000 spins in retail stores nationally.
