Get Fit with the Sacramento Kings and Kaiser Permanente

Kings Center Kosta Koufos scheduled to appear at Get Fit health celebration at Westfield Galleria at Roseville this Saturday

Sacramento Kings Center Kosta Koufos and team mascot Slamson are scheduled to attend Get Fit with the Kings, a free community event where experts from Kaiser Permanente provide tips on being healthy and active. The public will be able to interact with a sports medicine physician who cares for the Sacramento Kings, fitness experts, a registered dietitian and other Kaiser Permanente representatives with valuable tips on healthy and active living. Among the fitness-themed activities will be a concussion awareness area where the public can try on "concussion goggles" that simulate a concussion. In addition, one lucky audience member will have a chance to play 1:1 hoops with Koufos, who will also sign autographs from 4 to 5 pm for the first 150 fans.
Date: Saturday, October 28, 2017.

Time: 3 to 5 p.m.

Location: Westfield Galleria at Roseville, 1151 Galleria Blvd., Roseville, at the Outdoor Promenade.

The Get Fit Clinic features:

• Activity challenges such as dribbling drills, shooting hoops
• Kings team doctor Jason Brayley available to answer general sports medicine questions
• Dance contest with the Sacramento Kings Dancers
• Children's activities including hula hoops
• Music
• Giveaways and snacks
• Autographs and more

There is no cost to attend and the event is open to the community.
