View All Events >
The 7th Annual 'Waldorf Cup' offers a day of fun on the green, a banquet and a chance to win some fabulous prizes, including a 3-night resort getaway.

CARMICHAEL, CA, - The Sacramento Waldorf School will host its annual charity golf tournament on May 17, 2018 at the Ancil Hoffman Golf Course in Carmichael. Everyone is welcome to join this fun community event. Tournament proceeds help to fund The Sacramento Waldorf School Endowment, which supports the school's tuition assistance program, facilities maintenance and program development, among other operational expenses.

"Sacramento Waldorf School offers a unique educational experience to our community, an experience we would love to make available to as many children as possible," said Jennifer Alafranji, one of the tournament organizers. "An endowment program can help support that goal, and this tournament is a way for the community to have a great time while supporting this important fund."

Tournament day check-in begins at 11 a.m., and Tee Time is at 1 p.m. Entrance fees are $150 per player, and include greens and golf cart fees, lunch, and a dinner banquet with live music and a silent auction. Events with prizes include the hole-in-one, the long drive, the straightest drive, a best score prize and more.

The tournament follows a four-person team scramble format, and individuals who register will be placed with a team. Prior golfing experience is not necessary; a one-hour basics primer will be offered at 10 a.m. There's even a prize for Worst Score!
Corporate, individual, and team sponsorships opportunities are available. Donations are welcomed and appreciated. To register an individual, a team, or to become a tournament sponsor visit and download the official entry forms. Ancil Hoffman Golf Course is located at 6700 Tarshes Drive in Carmichael.

Founded in 1959, Sacramento Waldorf School is a private, non-sectarian school serving families with children from infancy through 12th grade. It is located on 22 acres along the American River, at 3750 Bannister Road in Fair Oaks. More information about SWS is available at
