Top Small Business Festival returns to Sacramento Region

The Small Business Festival, named one of the top 5 conferences for small business growth in the U.S., returns to the Sacramento Region for the second year during Small Business Week April 30 - May 4.

Small Business Festival provides expert speakers, panels, resource groups and networking opportunities for small businesses through a week-long event.

"Our goal in this collaboration is to create a forum for thousands of local small business owners to get out of their isolation and learn the tools they need to make their small businesses a success," said Matthew Pollard, founder and president of Small Business Festival.

The Festival has three core focuses:

* Celebrate and showcase local small business success stories
* Educate through people who have built successful businesses, sharing ideas and strategies
* Inspire small business owners to learn new skills so they can charge forward

Topics will include:

* Online marketing techniques
* Real-estate forecasting
* Entrepreneurship
* Venture capital funding
* Current business trends

Recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the Top 5 conferences for small business growth in the U.S. in 2016, the Austin, Texas based Small Business Festival attracted more than 1,200 attendees in its first year and has continued to grow. The Festival has expanded to 5 cities in 2018 - Austin, San Antonio, Buffalo, Roseville/Sacramento and Houston.

Clayton Porscha, co-founder of AccelerateU and Chief Growth Officer of Valley Extends, and the City of Roseville have partnered with Small Business Festival to bring the Small Business Festival to the area.

"We are part of just a few communities around the country that are able to bring this world-class support to our small business and start up community," said Clayton Porscha. "AccelerateU is proud to invest in Small Businesses and our local entrepreneurs in celebrating Small Business Week."
