Dinner and Silent Auction

Roseville Police Department's Shop with a Cop team invites the community to a fun evening of food, surprise celebrity guests and a great silent auction. The dinner kicks off at 5 p.m. Sunday, December 16, at William Jessup University, 333 Sunset Blvd., Rocklin (arrive at 4 p.m. for a tour of the campus).

You can meet the Shop with a Cop Team, some of the local Placer County families participating in December's Shop with a Cop event, and surprise local celebrity guests.

Tickets are $30 a person for a delicious buffet dinner, and must be purchased in advance by Friday, December 14, by calling Sgt. Darren Kato at (916) 871-3043.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit local kids who are selected to shop with a cop.



Every month the Shop with a Cop team takes deserving local kids shopping for school clothes and other necessities. Students from kindergarten through high school are nominated by their teachers, families or other community members based on their grades, school behavior, acts of kindness and service to others, and other praise-worthy achievements. Financial need is also considered.



Shop with a Cop is sponsored by Target, the Tommy Apostolos Fund, the Roseville Police Activities League, and donations from other generous businesses, organizations and individuals.
