
Free Shredding and E-Waste Collection
1/19/2013Telefunken Semiconductors America, Sims Recycling Solutions and Pacific Records Management are partnering with the City of Roseville for a free electronic waste collection and document shredding event on January 19, 2013.
9 am - 1pm
Proceeds from the electronic waste collection benefit the Utility Exploration Center.
E-WASTE ITEMS ACCEPTED:
Cell phones, CD players, computers, computer accessories (mice, keyboards, etc), copy machines, DVD players, fax machines, laptops, LCDs, microwaves, monitors, network equipment, PDAs, plasma TVs, printers, radios, servers, smart phones, stereo equipment, tablets, telecom equipment, televisions and VCRs.
FREE DOCUMENT SHREDDING
Pacific Records Management's large mobile shredding truck will be parked at the TELEFUNKEN Semiconductors AMERICA facility at 7501 Foothills Blvd. in Roseville.
The free service is limited to three file-size boxes of paperwork per household or business. There is no need to remove staples, folders, paper clips or other metal bindings.
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
No household appliances,batteries, toner/ink cartridges or cans/bottles.
