Western Week in Loomis through November 11

Baxter Black headlines the fine line up of Cowboy and Cowgirl Poets this year.

Check out the website for schedules, and all the activities during Western Week in Loomis. New this year is Big Buckle Night, on Wednesday, November 7th, hosted at Casque Winery, including the Gourmet Garage and Loomis Basin Brewery. This event is open to the public, and promises to be memorable with good friends, good food, good beverages, and a little bit of cowboy poetry. There will be a no-host bar, and Gourmet Garage will be serving sandwiches and sides from their regular menu.

The Thursday Night Kick Off event will be held in the beautiful setting of the Red Horse Barn of Newcastle Wedding Gardens. Chef Chris Jackson has created 'Cowboy" Comfort Cuisine for the evening menu. Poets Pat Richardson, Jeff Severson, and Bill Brewster will be the featured cowboy talent. Limited seating is available, ticketing online at www.cowpokefallgathering.com or by calling 1-866-967-8167.

There are still seats available for Friday night, and the Saturday matinee. Sunday morning you can come as you are to Cowboy Church, starting at 9:00 a.m. this year. There is no admission, and refreshments will be served.
