Roseville Apartment Fire Suspicious say officials

Just after 1 p.m. yesterday, Tuesday November 27th,  Roseville firefighters responded to a fire alarm sounding at The Villas Apartments located at 10001 Woodcreek Oaks Blvd. While responding to the incident firefighters were updated that an apartment was in fact on fire.

Under the command of Battalion Chief Kathy Finney, the twenty responding firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and evacuated the apartment building to assure no one was in danger. The sprinkler system at the apartment complex assisted in containing the fire to the single apartment.

The cause of the fire is suspicious. Fire investigators and law enforcement officers stayed on scene investigating the incident.

There were no reported injuries during the fire. Damage was estimated at $50,000.
