Placer Food Bank Fundraiser to be held in Roseville
An Empty Bowls Fundraiser to Benefit Placer Food Bank will take place in Roseville on both February 28th and March 1 at the Maidu Community Center.
Empty Bowls is designed to increase public awareness of the critical issue of hunger in Placer and surrounding counties, and to raise funds to help meet the growing demand for emergency food assistance to those in need.
The event will feature hand-crafted ceramic bowls from local artists, and a simple meal of pasta, salad, bread and dessert. All event proceeds will be used to purchase food for distribution to the community through Placer Food Bank's network of hunger-relief agencies and feeding programs.

TICKETS: Tickets include a hand-crafted ceramic bowl created by local artists and friends of Placer Food Bank, and a simple meal of pasta, bread, salad and dessert. Supper tickets also include wine tasting, appetizers and live music.
The cost is $50 for the Wine Reception and Simple Supper and $25 for the Luncheon. Tickets are available at www.placerfoodbank.org or by calling (916) 783-0481.
