I-80 and SR 65 Interchange Improvements Project Meeting

Placer County Transportation Planning Agency (PCTPA) will host a Public Scoping Meeting for the I-80/SR 65 Interchange Improvements Project on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Maidu Community Center Reception Hall, 1550 Maidu Drive, Roseville, CA.

PCTPA is starting the environmental assessment for this project.  This Public Scoping Meeting is an opportunity to learn about the project and provide comments and/or concerns.  Your comments will become part of the public record and will be considered in developing alternatives to be studied in the environmental document.

 The proposed project is located in Placer County within the Cities of Roseville and Rocklin at the

I-80/SR 65 Interchange.  The proposed project also includes various local roads, specifically portions of Galleria Boulevard/Stanford Ranch Road, Eureka Road/Atlantic Street, East Roseville Parkway, Rocklin Road, and Taylor Road.  The project proposes interchange improvements to reduce traffic congestion, improve traffic operations, and enhance safety.

 Representatives from PCTPA, Caltrans, and the project consultant team will be available to provide an overview of the project, the schedule, and will answer questions and discuss ideas in an open house format.  Maps, information about the project alternatives, and other displays will be available for viewing.

 PCTPA is the regional transportation planning agency for Placer County excluding the Lake Tahoe basin. PCTPA represents the County and six incorporated cities located in Placer County.
