Citrus Heights Police Capture Suspect wanted in Roseville

gary_lee_fowler.jpegLast week Roseville Police asked for the public's help finding a possibly armed parolee-at-large suspected of stealing several cars from a Roseville rental car agency.   The suspect had eluded police during two extensive searches, one in Roseville's Saugstad Park area, and another near Center High School in Antelope.  The department provided a description and photo of the suspect to the community through the news media, the department's neighborhood news bulletin and other outlets.

At 11:10 a.m. Saturday, February 2, a citizen called the Roseville Police Department to report that he'd just seen the wanted subject in a park near Roseville Road and Outlook Drive in Citrus Heights.  The citizen had seen information about the suspect in the news, and had been keeping an eye out for him, in order to help keep the community safe.  At Roseville PD's  request, the Citrus Heights Police Department responded, located the wanted suspect and took him into custody without incident.
