Placer SPCA Announces 2013 Board of Directors

Roseville, CA - The Placer SPCA announced the January election of its new Executive Committee officers and the installation of two new board members.

            John Mason, Attorney at Law, will serve as the Placer SPCA Board President in 2013.

John has long had a passion for animal welfare, having served as a board member for Placer SPCA since 2010, and with another animal welfare organzition for 8 years prior to coming to Placer SPCA. His passion and expertise of animal welfare organzations will be invaluable to the Placer SPCA.

Joining our Executive Committee in 2013 is President Elect Al Johnson of Al Johnson Consulting, LLP; and Director-at-large Jim Gray of Roseville City Council (retired). Other officers include Past President Marcus Lo Duca, Partner of Lo Duca & Avdis; Treasurer E. Howard Rudd, president of Integral Financial; and Secretary Mark Davis, president of Sierra View Construction.

            New appointees to the Placer SPCA Board of Directors are Colleen Watters, Attorney at Law, Law Offices of Lynn Dean & Associates, and Bill Radakovitz, an active resident of the Auburn community.

Each member of the Placer SPCA board has the opportunity to serve two three-year terms.

             "The Placer SPCA has an 16-member board comprised of some of the most well-respected and professional individuals from throughout Placer County," said Placer SPCA CEO  Leilani Fratis.  The Board of Directors is responsible for guiding the mission and vision of the organization and other fiduciary responsibilities.  "They serve a very important role," said Fratis.
