Rocklin Police Arrest Pair on Burglary Charges

On February 14, 2013, at 4:00 AM, the Rocklin Police Department Communications Center received a call of a theft of property from a vehicle that had been interrupted by a resident in the Sunset Summit Apartment Complex at 2151 Sunset Blvd. A description of the suspects and of their vehicle was given to dispatchers who relayed the information to officers. Responding officers located numerous vehicles in the complex that had been broken into with their windows smashed.

Other officers located a vehicle matching the description leaving the area as they arrived. The vehicle was stopped a short distance away and the occupants, two females, were contacted.

A search of the vehicle yielded stolen property from several burglaries in the Sunset Summit Apartment Complex and from additional burglaries that had occurred in other areas of the city.

The occupants were arrested.

Jill Joyce Hanoum, 34 years old, North Highlands, for 7 counts of Burglary (459 PC) and Conspiracy (182 PC)
Danielle Marie Zunino, 28 years old, Sacramento, for 7 counts of Burglary (459 PC) and Conspiracy (182 PC)

Bail has been set at $70,000 for each subject.
