Rocklin-Sierra College "Friends of the Library" will hold a used book sale on Wednesday, April 10, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, on the 2nd floor foyer of the Learning Resource Center on the Rocklin Campus.

Along with many bestselling titles, the sale is an opportunity to purchase some unusual and interesting books at great prices! Most hardbound sell for $1.00 each and most paperbacks are 5 for $1.00, and there is a large selection to choose from.

A group of volunteers, the "Friends" raise money for materials, equipment and services for the Library through book sales, fund-raising events and encouragement of gifts of all kinds to the Library. Proceeds from the book sale will be used to support library programs and services. Its members recognize that the Library is the heart of the college and essential to its educational mission and to the community at large. The Friends sponsor activities and events to promote awareness of the Library's collections, resources and services to the college and the community.

Members of the community are invited to join the Friends of the Library. Annual membership dues entitle a Friend of the Library to receive a library card and use library services. Ask at the college library reference desk or circulation desk for an application.

Sierra College is located at 5000 Rocklin Road in Rocklin. Parking permits are required on campus and may be purchased for $3 at dispensers located throughout the parking lot.
