Keaton Raphael Memorial Inaugural Gala September 20th
Roseville/Sacramento -- Keaton Raphael Memorial (KRM) celebrates 15 years of hope, courage, and strength along with a milestone of 1 million donated towards research at UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center at an Inaugural Gala, Sept. 20, 2013.
The gala will be held at the California State Railroad Museum in Old Sacramento at 6:30pm. All event proceeds will benefit children battling cancer and their families throughout Northern CA.
The Keaton Raphael Memorial was established in 1998 following the death of 5-year old Keaton after his courageous nine-month battle with neuroblastoma. Since then, the charity has raised more than $1 million for UC Davis pediatric cancer research and helped over 1200 families through their child's battle against cancer. Through financial, educational, and emotional support, Keaton Raphael Memorial has been lending a hand to many families over the year's and asks everyone to join them 'All Aboard for a Cure' at this year's gala.
This will be an evening black tie affair bringing together community and business leaders, along with family & friends for a very special evening benefiting a cause worth fighting for. Guest will enjoy fine food and drinks catered by, live entertainment from, and silent auction. Most important, this is an evening of celebrating the courageous children who are fighting this disease every day and remembering those who received their angel wings along with their friends, family, and supporters who have stood by them through it all.
"We are very proud of the positive difference that our hard-working volunteers and generous donors have made over the years to impact the lives of so many," said KRM Executive Director, Teresa Hofhenke. "And yet each child facing and fighting cancer reminds us why we must continue these efforts with ever-increasing resolve."
