Rocklin Weekend Crime Report Digest (9-26-13)




The Rocklin Police Department made 7 felony arrests and responded to 324 calls according to the department's crime report digest for September 20-24, 2013.

Thefts And Burglaries 

 Residential Burglary - 5400 Block Sage Court
Unknown suspect entered the unlocked side garage door and removed bags of pageant clothing occurred 09/19-09/20 between 2330 and 0730 hours. 

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY - 6900 Block Destiny Drive
Employees returned to the "Baby Steps" store and found the suspect used an unknown object to break the lower glass window to the office to gain entry.  Lap top computer taken. Occurred 09/19-09/20 between 1810 and 0800 hours. 

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY - 5500 Block 3rd St.
Unknown suspects broke two padlocks to the Tri-City Little League Baseball Field shed and removed three chain saws. Occurred 09/19-09/20 between 1700 and 1230 hours. 

VEHICLE PETTY THEFT - 4000 Block Legend Drive
The victim left her purse in the back seat of an unlocked vehicle while she looked at a house for sale.  Victim's credit card was used at a nearby gas station.  Occurred 09/21 between 0830 and 0846 hours.

VEHICLE BURGLARY  - 5900 Block Willowynd Drive
Unknown suspect gained entry into locked vehicle and stole cash and the car stereo.  Occurred 09/20-09/21 between 2330 and 1030 hours. 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY - 2200 Block of Misty Hollow Drive
2 bicycles taken from open, unlocked garage occurred 09/21 between 1800 and 1830 hours.

ATTEMPTED THEFT VEHICLE - 200 Block Gold Circle
Unknown suspect entered unlocked vehicle parked in apartment complex parking lot.  Suspect broke open the center armrest/console and rummaged through the contents occurred 09/22. 

CASES OF INTEREST:

UNDER THE INFLUENCE - 4400 Block Pacific Street
Officers responded to a shoplifter at the new WalMart grocery store on Pacific. Suspect was detained and arrested for being under the influence of a narcotic substance.
Arrested:  JoLynn Parker  (9-23-81) from Sacramento.

VEHICLE BURGLARY, POSSES STOLEN PROPERTY - 6600 Block Lonetree
Three suspects taken into custody for burglary and possession of stolen property taken from a locked.
Arrested from Sacramento were:  Susan Vang (8-7-81)             Yee Lee  (2-1-80)             Timothy Mageno (7-15-78)                                              

CRUELTY TO CHILD, RESIST ARREST - 3600 Block Sunset Blvd
Officers were called to assist Family Children Services with a welfare check on a mother suspected of using controlled substances.  Suspect Kerrie Capo was contacted in her apartment and taken into custody after various pills and prescriptions were located all throughout the apartment in reach of the seven year old daughter.  Capo kicked and fought with officers during the arrest.  The daughter was taken into protective custody.
