Roseville Murder Victim Identified, Suspect Jailed
The victim in the fatal shooting in the 100 block of Hickory Street on September 30, was 54-year-old Kevin William Spindler (date of birth 03-30-1959) of Roseville.
His roommate, Joseph Arthur Nunn, age 48 (pictured), was arrested at the scene and is being held in the Placer County Jail without bail on suspicion of murder.
At 3:15 p.m. yesterday, September 30, Roseville Police Department officers responded to calls of shots fired at a home in the 100 block of Hickory Street. When officers arrived, they found Mr. Spindler down in the front yard of the home with gunshot wounds. Roseville Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. His roommate, Joseph Nunn, was taken into custody at the scene without incident.
Officers determined that an argument between the roommates escalated, until the suspect shot the victim with a handgun.
