Matt Camp Family Fundraiser in Roseville October 12th
Roseville, CA - A fundraiser in honor of the late Matt Camp will be held during the Late Model Fall Classic, Matt Camp Memorial Twin 52/52s, at All American Speedway in Roseville, on Saturday, October 12, 2013.
Camp made a name for himself at AAS, where he was a strong competitor who always had a smile on his face. "It will be so hard coming here Saturday and not seeing his car," said Denise Lambert, who also races at the track. Camp was just 30 years old when he passed away in a tragic boat accident, on August 11, 2013, at Bullard's Bar Reservoir. One week later, his body was finally recovered.
The fundraiser is a benefit for Matt's wife Krysta, and 9-month old daughter Makenzie. Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo bank into the "Donations for Makenzie Camp Fund."
There will be a silent auction and sale beginning at 3:00 pm and ending promptly at 6:00 p.m. Cash is preferred, but credit cards will be accepted. There is an ATM on the premises. Arrangements have been made with the track to allow you to store larger items at the track rather than take them into the stands.
For information about donating, or about the auction, call Don Thompson at 916-698-6943.
