Rocklin, CA-Take higher education farther by studying in Madrid Spain, January 22 through April 20, 2014. Registration for this trip is available now.
Every spring semester Sierra College offers students an opportunity to continue their studies while living in another country for three months. Sierra College students have studied abroad in Italy, Spain, France, Great Britain, Australia, Greece, Costa Rica, Viet Nam, Argentina, and New Zealand.
Our program fees, one of the least expensive in the country, cover twelve-weeks housing in a furnished apartment, insurance, program transportation, on-site staff support and more.
Madrid, the largest city in Spain, is often described as the European "capital of joy and contentment." Although the city is a modern business hub, and the political center of Spain, the residents take time to enjoy life with long walks, and lingering evenings with friends over tapas. Madrid, referred to as "the city that never sleeps', is the origin of the Flamenco dance and bull fighting. It offers many entertainments, art museums, luscious foods and wines.
