HIGHLIGHTS

Major injury collision 3rd Ave. and Sunset Blvd.

On November 20th, a Toyota 4 Runner was on Sunset Blvd. In the left hand turn lane to turn left onto Springview Drive. A motorcyclist came up behind him and passed him between the center divide and his vehicle on the left side. As the motorcyclist attempted to make the illegal left turn, he struck the front of the 4 Runner. The driver of the 4 Runner was uninjured. The motorcyclist suffered major injuries including a compound fracture of his leg and a dislocated knee. He was transported by AMR. 

Petty Theft - 5600 block Pacific St.
On November 25th, unknown subject purchased $370 worth of paint materials and had the business invoice a business account.  That business stated that the subject was not authorized to purchase items and is not employed by the business.

 Commercial Burglary - 2300 block Sunset Blvd.
Unknown suspect broke front glass door to business and stole multiple eyeglass frames.  Occurred between 11-21-13 at 6:00pm and 11-22-13 at 7:30am. 

Petty Theft, Commercial - 2600 block Sierra Meadows Dr.
Older white male suspect grabbed a handful of strung beads and placed them in his jacket pocket before leaving the store making no attempt to pay for the merchandise.  Occurred on  11-22-13 at 3:19pm.

Assault - 6200 Blk Brookside Circle
Several juveniles reported a neighbor fired a bb gun in their direction in order to scare them away from his property.  Occurred on 11-22-13 at 4:42pm. 

Commercial Burglary - 6600 block Lonetree Blvd
Michelle MacDonald of Rocklin entered the store and concealed a "duck call" device in her clothing before leaving.  She later returned to the store and stole a second device when she was stopped and arrested by store security.  Arrested:  Michelle MacDonald 3-29-95, Rocklin

 Stolen Vehicle - 2200 block Sunset Blvd
96 Green Saturn taken from parking lot between 12:30am and 12:00pm on 11-23-13 by unknown suspect.

Petty Theft; Vehicle, 2200 Blk Misty Hollow Court
The victim left his unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway overnight and returned the next morning to find miscellaneous property stolen.  Occurred between 9:00pm on 11-22-13 and 12:00pm on 11-23-13. 

Petty Theft; Residential, 4200 Blk Fernwood Street
Unknown suspect removed a battery charger left on the back porch.  Occurred on 11-23-13 between 1:00pm and 6:00pm. 

Stolen vehicle, Possession of Stolen Property & Firearm, 6800 block Five Star Blvd
A 2007 Toyota Tundra was stolen out of Amador County earlier in the day and was found parked unoccupied in front of a hotel.   Adam Hernandez exited the hotel and started to drive away when he was stopped and arrested.   The victim's handgun was located in the car as well as other stolen property.  Evading Police, Parolee at Large
Police responded to a disturbance call and located an involved vehicle as it was leaving the area.  The driver failed to yield to officer's attempts to stop the vehicle and led officers from Rocklin, Roseville, and Placer County on a chase until the vehicle was eventually stopped in Yuba County. Arrested:  Justin A. Tharpe, 11-28-79 out of Anderson, CA - no picture available.
