Galleria-Harding, fuel theft: At about 8:30 a.m. December 13, a man was seen siphoning fuel from a pickup in the 800 block of Galleria Boulevard. The suspect was described as a white male, 35-40 years of age, 6'0" tall and 200 pounds, wearing a black baseball cap. He was driving a white 1998 to 2002 Ford F-150 extra-cab pickup.
East Roseville Parkway, package theft: At 3:15 p.m. December 10, a woman was seen stealing a package from a front porch in the 1900 block of Frencham Drive. The woman was described as white and in her 30s, with blonde hair, driving a gray sedan. We arrested a male and female in connection with package thefts in the Cirbyside neighborhood (see below, under Beat 3) on December 12, but we don't know if they were connected with this theft or not. It's always a good practice to track your shipments, know when packages are arriving, and make arrangements to pick them up from your porch immediately. If you're not going to be home, reschedule your delivery or arrange for your packages to be delivered to a neighbor.

Officers located the suspect vehicle about a half mile away, in the same neighborhood, and contacted the two occupants. The SUV was stuffed full of delivered packages, including several with the address labels torn off. Officers found some packages that had been stolen from the front porches of three homes in the same Cirbyside area, and Folsom P.D. identified four victims in their city. The first man started to run away, and dropped his cell phone, which the other man picked up. Because of the other man's threatening demeanor, the victim didn't ask for his phone back, but kept running until he was contacted by Roseville police officers. Officers located and arrested the suspect, a 54-year-old Roseville man, on suspicion of robbery (taking the other man's phone by inducing fear in him) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
