Rocklin Business Helps Raise Funds for Kids Day

The new Rocklin Dutch Bros along with other Sacramento-area Dutch Bros. Coffee locations and community members banded together to raise $8,580 recently for the annual Buck for Kids Day.

To raise funds, all eight locations donated $1 from every drink sold to the cause.

Last year's Buck for Kids Day raised $3,631 locally and $139,000 for children's causes company-wide.

"We are so appreciative of our amazing customers and the Getty Owl Foundation," said Citrus Heights owner-operators Steve and Nikol Grubbs. "Thank you for participating in Buck for Kids."

"We are blown away by the generosity of our customers," said Rocklin owner-operators Jeremy and Heather Mauel. "Because of them, they've helped make the holidays brighter for our local youth that are in need of the basic necessities we often take for granted."

Buck for Kids Day is an annual event in which all 213 Dutch Bros. Coffee locations in seven states donate drink proceeds to youth programs selected by local owner-operators.

Auburn and Rocklin locations, owned by Jeremy and Heather Mauel, donated to the local Shop With a Cop program.

Woodland and Davis locations, owned by Sean and Lynsey Provost, donated to the Calvary Youth Project.

Sacramento, Citrus Heights and Fair Oaks locations, owned by Steve and Nikol Grubbs, donated to the Getty Owl Foundation.

Company-wide, Dutch Bros. Coffee donates over $1 million every year to nonprofit organizations and causes, in an effort to achieve its goal of, "Making a difference, one cup at a time."
