Residential Burglary - 5300 block Third St
Unknown suspect(s) pried open a side garage door and entered the victim's residence. The burglary occurred sometime 12/30-01/01 between 0615-0710 hours.
Petty Theft From Vehicle - 5200 block 4th St.
Unknown suspect gained entry into the victim's vehicle by unknown means between 1-2-14 at 2030 hours and 1-3-14 at 0630 hours.
Found Property - 2200 block Arnold Ave
On 1-3-14 a homeowner walked out into his front yard to find a new bike left on the lawn. Bicycle was booked into the property room at the police department.
Unauthorized Use Of Personal Info / Forgery / Grand Theft
Unknown suspect obtained victim's personal information and fraudulently created a check that was cashed in Georgia. Check cashed on 12-31-13.

4800 block Pacific St
On 01/01/2014 at about 2016 hours, officers contacted, Matthew Allen, while he was inside of his vehicle in the 4800 block of Pacific Street. Allen was known to have a warrant for his arrest out of Sacramento County. Allen threatened to shoot and kill officers, refused to exit his vehicle and fought with officers. He was taken into custody and found to be driving under the influence. During a search of his vehicle officers located an open container of alcohol and a small amount of marijuana. Allen was booked at the Placer County Jail for the listed charges. Arrested: Matthew Harrison Allen (DOB-07/10/1990) from El Dorado Hills

Fairway Dr At Lincoln Ave (Case# 14-6-2)
On 01-06-14 at approximately 0112 hours, suspect Christopher Martin was stopped for a vehicle code violation. The officer obtained consent to search Martin and found he was carrying a concealed dagger upon his person. Further search revealed Martin was in possession of a "meth" pipe and prescription drugs. Martin was booked into the Placer County Jail on the above charges.
