3t Exhibit Opens in Rocklin January 27th
Rocklin-CA, -- The Sierra College Ridley Gallery presents 3t, an exhibition of work by Sierra College Instructors Natalie Rishe (Applied Art and Design) and Bobby Lukas (Art). Partners Rishe and Lukas are returning to their art practices with a new perspective.
After giving birth to twin boys three years ago they've just begun to find time to merge their former art lives with their current domestic situation; the pairing is a practice in consolidation, reinterpretation and reimagining their surroundings and circumstance. The work ranges from experimental video projections and sound pieces, to intimate 2D collages and sculpture, all of which incorporate the detritus of life with two young children.
This Exhibition runs January 27- February 27, 2014. A reception will be held on Thursday, February 13 from 5-7pm, and will include artists speaking about their work. Ridley Galley is located on the first floor of the Library/LR 102, on the Rocklin campus, located at 5000 Rocklin Rd, Rocklin. Regular hours for Ridley Gallery are 11am -6:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Admission to Ridley Gallery is free and open to the public.
There is a $3 parking fee. Parking permits are available at machines located in the campus parking lot.
