Commercial Burglary - 4000 block Del Rio Ct, Rocklin Mini Storage (Case #14-06-05)
Unknown suspect(s) moved a tractor and cut a lock to gain access to a cargo container. The suspect(s) stole numerous tools from the container. The burglary occurred sometime between 12/27-12/30.
Residential Burglary - 2700 block San Marcos Ct (Case #14-06-08)
Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's garage and stole power tools. The burglary occurred sometime 01/05-01/06 between 2000-0700 hours.
Residential Burglary - 900 block Meridian Wy, Meridian Apartments (Case #14-06-21)
Unknown suspect(s) pried open a sliding window to gain access to the apartment. The suspect(s) stole jewelry. The burglary occurred sometime on 01/06 between 0830-1759 hours.
Commercial Burglary - 2300 block Sunset Blvd, 4G Wireless (Case #14-07-01)
Officers responded to a burglary alarm in the 2300 block of Sunset Blvd. The business had the front window smashed with a rock to gain entry. The unknown suspect(s) attempt to steal several floor models of electronic devices, but the suspect(s) left them behind when they realized they were only fake demo models. The burglary occurred on 01/06 at about 2345 hours.
Residential Burglary - 5600 block Montclair Cr (Case #14-08-09)
Unknown suspect(s) kicked open the front door to the residence and stole jewelry. The burglary occurred on 01/08 between 0715-1651 hours.
Vehicle Burglary - 4400 block Rocklin Rd, Howard Johnson Inn (Case #14-09-04)
Unknown suspect(s) pried open a window on the vehicle to make entry. The suspect(s) stole numerous items of property and some property was later recovered. The burglary occurred sometime 01/08-01/09 between 2230-0930 hours.
Residential Burglary - 5300 block Brookfield Cr (Case #14-09-05)
Unknown suspect(s) pried open the side garage door and made entry into the garage. The suspect(s) stole automotive equipment and a generator. The burglary occurred on 01/09 between 1045-1145 hours.
Vandalism - 4700 block Rocklin Rd, Los Cabos Taqueria (Case #14-09-06)
Unknown suspect(s) threw a cover to the sprinkler system at the front window to the business. The item caused one of the windows to shatter but not completely break out. No entry was made inside of the business, and it is unknown if this was a burglary attempt. The vandalism occurred sometime 01/08-01/09 between 2030-1000 hours.
Petty Theft - From Vehicle 6400 block Pacific Street, Trucksmart, Inc (Case# 14-10-2)
Unknown suspect syphoned approximately ten gallons of gas from a parked moving van overnight. Occurred between 1-9-14 at 1800 hours and 1-10-14 at 0800 hours.
Vehicle Burglary - 5900 block Springview Drive (Case# 14-10-3)
Unknown suspect gained entry into victim's vehicle by unknown means and removed a wallet and miscellaneous items. Occurred sometime between 1-8-14 and 1-9-14.
Stolen Vehicle - 6200 block Brookside Circle (Case# 14-11-5)
The victim reported a VW Passat stolen from the driveway of the residence overnight. Occurred between 1-10-14 at 1530 hours and 1-11-14 at 1620 hours.
Residential Burglary - 6000 block Woodside Ave (Case# 14-13-12)
Unknown suspect/s gained entry into the victim's house possibly through an open window and removed a TV, a GPS unit and two firearms. Occurred on 1-13-14 between 0700 hours and 1700 hours.
Possession Of A Destructive Device 5000 block of Birchwood Ct (Case #14-06-04)
On 01/06 at about 0806 hours, officers responded to the 5000 block of Birchwood Court for a possible explosive device that had exploded underneath a vehicle. Officers arrived and discovered a device had gone off but did not damage any property or vehicles. There are no suspect(s) at this time.
Under The Influence Of A Controlled Substance, Warrants 6000 block Placer West Dr, Placer West Apts (Case #14-09-08)
On 01/09 at about 1458 hours, officers responded to the Placer West Apartments to assist Child Protective Services with a welfare check. During the check of the living conditions of minors, officers found the suspect to be under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect also had about $100,000 in warrants for his arrest. The suspect was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges. Arrested was Joshua Farmer (DOB-07/03/1981) from Loomis.
Outside Agency Assist Barton Rd / Rocklin Rd (Case #14-10-01)
On 01/10 at about 0246 hours, officers responded to assist Deputies with the Placer County Sheriff's Department that were in pursuit of a vehicle that had just fired a weapon. Officers arrived as the vehicle crashed in the area of Sierra College and Brace. Officers assisted with taking the three suspects into custody. The case is being investigated by the Placer County Sheriff's Department.
Possession Of Controlled Substance, 4400 block Rocklin Road (Case# 14-12-5)
Officers responded to check on the welfare of a single female sitting alone in a parked car. Upon contact, the female acted oddly and consented to the search of her vehicle. A small amount of methamphetamine was located and Amber Lynn Dankbar was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Arrested was Amber Lynn Dankbar, (DOB: 7-1-82) of Lincoln
Possession Of Controlled Substance For Sale, Possession Of Narcotic Paraphernalia, Transport/Sell Narcotics Hwy 65 at Galleria Blvd (Case# 14-13-2)
On 1-13-14 at approximately 0254 hours, an officer conducted a vehicle stop and learned the driver was on probation. A search of the vehicle revealed several hypodermic syringes along with a small amount of heroin, scales, and packaging supplies consistent with the sale of narcotics. The driver and one passenger were placed under arrest and transported to the police department. Upon arriving at the station, the female suspect asked to use the restroom in an attempt to destroy a small package of heroin she had hidden in her underpants. The female then revealed another bag containing over 20gms of heroin she had hidden on her body. Both suspects were booked into Placer County jail on the above charges. Arrested were Troy Geroy (DOB: 4-15-87 of Sacramento, and Emma Towe (DOB: 12-29-95) of Rio Linda.
