On 01-21-2014, at approximately 10:16 PM, Rocklin Police officers responded to a strong armed robbery in progress in the 5400 block of Crossings Drive.

Male suspects had attempted to steal alcohol and assaulted a Loss Prevention Agent who was attempting to detain them as they exited the business.

One of the suspects fled the parking lot in a vehicle.  An officer saw the vehicle as it was getting on to eastbound I-80 and the driver failed to yield to the officer's emergency lights and siren.  A short vehicle pursuit began.  Two Placer County Sheriff's Department deputies joined the pursuit and the suspect stopped in Loomis where the driver was taken into custody without incident.
