Burglary - Residential, 6300 block Emerald Drive
Unkown suspect/s removed item from garage.
Petty Theft - Vehicle 5800 block Sequoia Court
Unknown suspect/s entered the victim's unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway. Occurred between 1-14-14 at 2230 hours and 1-15-14 at 1030 hours.
Burglary - Vehicle 5500 block Portola Circle
Unknown suspect/s gained entry into a locked vehicle, rifled through the interior and took miscellaneous property. Occurred between 1-15-14 at 2200 hours and 1-16-14 at 0645 hours.
Grand Theft - Residential 5200 block Front Street
Unknown suspect/s cut the lock and chain connecting two mountain bikes and removed them from the victim's back porch. The victim reported his dog barking at approximately 0100 hours and believed the theft occurred at that time on 1-16-14.
Attempt To Pass Counterfeit Money / Burglary, 6600 block Lonetree Blvd
The owner of a local shop was alerted to a male who attempted to pass a counterfeit $20.00 bill in her Roseville store. After alerting her Rocklin employees, a male matching the same description attempted the same actions in the Rocklin store. Occurred 1-17-14 at 2143 hours.
Burglary- Shoplift , Conspiracy
4400 block of Rocklin Rd and 4500 block of Rocklin Rd
In what appears to be two related cases, officers responded to the two above addresses within minutes of each other on a report of two unknown male suspects who stole alcohol and fled on foot. First report occurred on 1-17-14 at 2118 hours.
Possession Of Narcotic Paraphernalia, 5400 block Whitney Blvd
Rocklin officers assisted Placer County Probation with their attempt to serve suspect Jeffrey Kilgore with an arrest warrant for his failure to appear in court. Upon contacting Kilgore, his property was searched and a "meth" pipe was found. Jeffery Kilgore was booked into the Placer County Jail. Occurred on 1-17-14 at 2021 hours. Possession Of Controlled Substance / Transport, Sell Controlled Substance / Misdemeanor Warrant , Tuttle Drive at Winner's Circle
Officer pulled a vehicle over for an expired registration violation and determined the driver had a warrant for his arrest. A search of the vehicle revealed a small amount of methamphetamine underneath the passenger seat. Jason Sill of Rocklin was arrested and booked into the Placer County Jail. Burglary / Child Endangerment 5609 Pacific St
On 1-18-14 suspect, Candace Bussell, selected several gift cards, used the self- checkout register and bypassed the scanner system by using fraudulent means. Loss Prevention personnel were aware of her past thefts in the store and captured her actions on the video surveillance system. Bussell had her infant with her at the time of the incident and was charged with burglary as well as child endangerment. Candace Bussell, 3-13-92 of Rocklin
