Roseville to Activate Groundwater Wells
In an effort to preserve the water supply in in Folsom Reservoir and to try to manage supply, Roseville officials have decided to activate back-up groundwater wells.
The wells are scheduled to be activated during the week of January 27, 2014. Mass phone messages will be sent out to areas likely to be affected.
4 groundwater wells are maintained by the City of Roseville that provide flexibility in dealing with changing conditions.
Areas that will initially be impacted are in in western and southern parts of the city. It may be expanded at a later date due to demand and circumstances.
