Grand Theft - 4300 block Dominguez Road
Unknown suspect(s) stole metal scraps and an engine from the yard area of the business.  The theft occurred sometime 02/07-02/14.

Commercial Burglary - 6500 block Lonetree Boulevard
Unknown suspect(s) entered the closed business and stole computers, laptops, and credit cards.  It is unknown at this time how entry was made into the business.  The burglary occurred sometime 02/12-02/13 between 2000-0700 hours.

Commercial Burglary - 1800 block Whitney Ranch Parkway
Unknown suspect(s) broke into a cell phone tower building.  There is limited information available on this burglary at this time.

Grand Theft - Vehicle - 5400 block E. Sunwood Court
Unknown suspect/s removed property from an unlocked vehicle parked in the victim's driveway.  Occurred between 2-13-14 at 1530 hours and 2-14-14 at 1100 hours.

Vandalism - 6200 block Rustic Hills Drive
A concerned citizen called the police to report a juvenile used spray paint to "tag" a city wall and a wooden barricade.  Police were able to identify the juvenile and contacted him at his residence where he admitted to the crime.  The juvenile was cited and released to his parents. Occurred 2-14-14 at 1320 hours.

Violation Of Parole, Possession Of Stolen Property, Driving On Suspended License
Taylor Road / Shawn Way                                                  
On 02/11/2014 at about 2256 hours, officers made a traffic stop in the area of Taylor Road and Shawn Way.  The driver was on parole and a search of the vehicle was completed.  During the search, officers found stolen property related to a theft which had occurred the week before at California Family Fitness.  The driver was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges.

Assault With A Deadly Weapon
6100 block Northern Lights Way
On 02/12/2014 at about 2201 hours, officers responded to the 6100 block of Northern Lights Way for a physical fight in progress.  Officers arrived and determined that the suspect had hit the victim with a vase during an argument.  The suspect was arrested without incident and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges.

Possession Of A Controlled Substance For Sales, Resisting Arrest, Battery On A Peace Officer With Injury, Felony Warrant, Misdemeanor Warrant
4500 block Rocklin Road
On 02/13/2014 at about 2254 hours, officers contacted three subjects inside a suspicious vehicle in the 4500 block of Rocklin Road.  As officers tried to detain one of the subjects, he physically resisted and fled on foot.  After a short foot pursuit the suspect was taken into custody.  He was found to be in possession of a large amount of Heroin.  Additionally, the suspect had three warrants for his arrest out of Placer County.  The suspect was booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges.  The two other subjects fled in the vehicle as officers were involved in the foot chase.

Thefts - Vehicle 5600 block Onyx Drive
Somewhere between 2200 hours on 2-14-14 and 0700 hours on 2-15-14, unknown suspect/s gained entry into the victim's vehicles - all of which were left unlocked.  The suspect/s rifled through the contents of the glove compartments and also removed power tool equipment from the roof of one of the vehicles.

Grand Theft - Commercial  4700 block Pacific St
Railroad employees contacted the police department when they spotted what appeared to be a large hole to the rear of a commercial property wall adjacent to the railroad tracks.  Officers responded and determined unknown suspects worked for a period of time to dig through a cinder block wall and remove various pieces of equipment. Occurred between 2-14-14 at 1700 hours and 2-16-14 at 1308 hours.  Investigation ongoing.

Possession Of Controlled Substance /Felony Warrants  4500 block Granite Dr
Officers learned a subject with outstanding felony warrants was staying at a local hotel.  The subject was contacted and found to be in possession of methamphetamine.  The suspect was booked into Placer Jail.  Occurred 2-16-14 at 2150 hours.
