Roseville Traffic Alert: Avoid Douglas & Sunrise Intersection

Traffic is still very heavy at the intersection of Douglas Blvd. and Sunrise Blvd in Roseville due to an earlier 2 car accident. 

The eastbound Douglas offramp from I-80 is reopened. Although there are now some limited traffic signals in place, we are still strongly suggesting motorists avoid the area especially during the evening commute hours.


The City of Roseville has issued the following traffic alert due to a traffic accident.

A traffic accident at the intersection of Douglas Blvd and N. Sunrise in Roseville has closed the eastbound I-80 offramp onto Douglas Blvd. and damaged the traffic signal controls causing significant delays in the area. 

This is a heavily traveled area, especially during the commute hours.  The delay is expected to last through the commute hours this evening. 

We are recommending motorists to avoid this area until further notice and find alternative routes home this evening.
