The Roseville Police weekly crime report digest for March 25, 2014.

Northeast Roseville

Olympus Pointe, theft: Overnight March 13/14, someone went into an unlocked car on Nunzia Court and stole stereo equipment, an iPod and other small items.

Olympus Pointe, burglary: Between noon March 22 and 5:30 p.m. March 23, someone went into a house in the 1800 block of Grazziani Way through a kitchen window and stole a TV and laptop computers.

East Roseville Parkway, residential burglaries: Between 3:45 and 9 p.m. March 22, someone burglarized two houses in the 3100 and 3300 blocks of Halverson Way, entering through windows on the side or back of the homes. Small items were taken.

East Roseville

Johnson Ranch, theft: Overnight March 18/19, someone stole the airbags from a Lexus sedan in the 5400 block of Fenton Way.

Maidu, vandalism: Between March 21 and March 24, someone damaged a goal post on the grounds of Sargeant Elementary School by pulling it away from its concrete footing.

Cirby Ranch, garage burglary: Overnight March 21/22, someone went into a garage in the 1000 block of Sandringham Way and stole golf clubs, hunting and fishing gear. It's unknown how the burglar got in.

Central Roseville, south of the tracks

Cresthaven, metal theft: Between midnight and 2:10 a.m. March 12, someone stole copper wire from a rooftop air conditioning unit in the 100 block of Cirby Way.

Cresthaven, vehicle burglaries and thefts from unlocked vehicles: On March 18, someone broke the window of a car in the 300 block of Cirby Hills Drive and took the stereo and CDs. Between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 18, someone stole a guitar and cash from a car parked on Evening Way between Lyndhurst and Dawnridge. Overnight March 18/19, someone went into two unlocked cars in the 600 block of Portside Circle and stole a wallet. The victim's credit cards were then used to make fraudulent purchases.

Hillcrest, burglary: At about 12:45 a.m. March 20, someone smashed the window of a business in the 100 block of South Harding Boulevard and stole the cash register tray and cash.

Hillcrest, theft: At about 3 p.m. March 23, someone stole a flat black Next mountain bike from the 500 block of Vine Avenue.

Folsom Road, stolen bikes recovered: At 4:05 p.m. March 23, an officer stopped a man riding a bicycle on Harding Boulevard near Estates Drive. As he was doing so, someone flagged officers down and told them that the bike had just been stolen from them. Officers detained the rider and returned the stolen bike to the victim. Officers then were told about another bike that had just been stolen in the area. They located the second stolen bike nearby, detained the rider and returned the second stolen bike to its owner. A 20-year-old Lincoln man and a 32-year-old Citrus Heights man were arrested.

Central Roseville, north of the tracks

Theiles, theft: Overnight March 22/23, someone went into an unlocked car in the 300 block of C Street and stole a wallet. The victim's credit cards were then used in Antelope.

Vineyard, theft: Between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. March 20, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Dodge Ram pickup in the 2900 block of Foothills Boulevard.

Los Cerritos, theft: Sometime since September, someone stole a catalytic converter from a Toyota 4Runner parked in the 300 block of Main Street.

Kaseberg/Kingswood, interrupted garage burglary: At 8:47 p.m. March 21, a resident of the 1300 block of Trevor Way had her garage door up while she was unloading her car. She came back outside and saw a male run out of her garage. He was in his 20s with dark hair and a stocky build, wearing a light-colored shirt. Nothing was taken.

North Central Roseville

Diamond Oaks, theft: Between 5 p.m. March 10 and 7 a.m. the next day, someone went into an unlocked car on Chantilly Court and stole a purse. The victim's credit cards were used to make fraudulent purchases.

Highland Reserve, parking issue: We've received complaints that since youth baseball/softball season started, a lot of people are parking in the "no parking" area of Trestle Drive, between Vencil Brown Elementary School's driveway and Roseville Parkway during practice times (5 p.m. to 6 p.m.) This illegal parking is causing visibility problems for other drivers. Officers will be checking the area for parking violations.

Highland Reserve, theft: Between 4 and 4:20 p.m. March 20, someone stole landscaping maintenance tools from the back of a pickup on Castle Hill Court.

Stanford, burglary: At about 11:40 p.m. March 19, someone burglarized a battery store in the 900 block of Pleasant Grove Boulevard and stole the cash register drawers and cash.

Stanford, stolen vehicle: Overnight March 20/21, a silver Honda Civic was taken from the 8200 block of Sienna Loop.

Stanford Crossing, burglary: At about 3:30 a.m. March 22, a toy store in the 3700 block of Stanford Ranch Road was burglarized and video gaming systems taken.

West Roseville

Woodcreek, theft: At 5 a.m. March 24, a resident of Eriswell Court put his suitcase and dufflebag out on the front porch while he waited for a ride. When he came out at 5:30 a.m., the luggage had been stolen.

Sun City, garage burglary: Between noon March 19 and 11:45 a.m. March 20, someone went into a garage in the 6000 block of Burnt Cedar Way, possibly through an unlocked side door, and stole a red Magna bicycle and helmet.

Sun City, business burglarized: At 1:49 a.m. March 25, officers responded to an alarm at a drug store at the corner of Pleasant Grove Boulevard and Fiddyment Road. The suspects fled the area before officers arrived on scene. Video surveillance showed that the burglary was committed by at least three males wearing hoodies, ski masks and gloves. They pried open the front door, wrapped a chain around the ATM located inside, and used their truck--unsuccessfully--to try to yank it out. They fled in an older red GMC pickup. Junction West, theft: Overnight March 22/23, someone went into an unlocked car in the 1600 block of Soledad Drive and stole a wallet. The victim's debit cards were then used in Antelope and Sacramento.

West Park/Fiddyment Farms, vehicle burglaries: Between March 22 and 24, someone went into two cars in the 4100 block of Settler's Ridge Way and stole a laptop, iPad and other items of value. Overnight March 22/23, someone went into a car in the 1800 block of Glenmark Way and stole CDs. It's unknown how the thieves got into the vehicles.
