LINCOLN HILLS, CA - Regy Bronner, a candidate for the Placer County Board of Supervisors, will hold an official campaign kickoff with a rally and precinct walking this Sunday/April 13 beginning at 1:15 p.m. (1214 Secret Lake Loop).

Mr. Bronner will be joined by his neighbors who asked him to run because of his business experience, and because  they are "tired of hearing about major changes in our community after the vote is already taken," said Mr. Bronner.

Mr. Bronner, who retired to Lincoln Hills with his wife Anita, a nurse, is a former Assembly candidate in the 6th District.

The Navy submarine veteran said the major focuses of his campaign will be supporting war veterans, maintaining the quality of life in his district, holding the line on taxes, and increasing transparency in government.

"There are threats to the quality of life here being ignored or mismanaged: overly ambitious construction projects, people losing their homes, a threatened water supply, convicts returned here without resources to monitor them, veterans coming home without jobs, housing, or healthcare," said Mr. Bronner.

"Taxpayers need more transparency from politicians so we know what they're doing. I'm not a career politician; I've already had a career. People say they hate government, but what they really hate is bad governance by unaccountable elected officials who put party before people," Mr. Bronner said.

Mr. Bronner stresses that county government, and this race, is non-partisan. "It shouldn't matter what political party you belong to, or who you know. Good ideas come from everywhere on the political spectrum, and when we get past partisanship we can see more unites us than divides us."

"Elect me to the Placer County Board of Supervisors. I promise to be a true public servant, and work full-time for the residents of the county," said Mr. Bronner.
