What Would Jesus Do Inc.

Mission Statement
WWJD is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for the homeless. We are an all-volunteer organization providing a mobile food service to the Roseville, Auburn, and Sierra Foothills area, along with medical care and counseling referral services for homeless men, women, and children.

Background Statement
In 1984, Ms. Sherry Schiele began to serve the homeless in Roseville by providing clothing and food to those she encountered on the street, out of the back of her vehicle. She incorporated these services in 1998 as others were working with her in this effort. The organization has been operating as an all-volunteer organization and reaches out to the Auburn, Colfax, and Foresthill areas of Placer County, as well as Roseville. The organization has an office in the St.Vincent de Paul Roseville location, but all clients are served by the mobile ministry. The organization strives to connect homeless individuals to known available community services.
