Spring Band Invitational Concert April 23 in Rocklin
Rocklin, CA-- The Sierra College Music Department is proud to present a Spring Band Invitational Concert on Wednesday, April 23rd, 7:30pm in Dietrich Theatre on the Sierra College Rocklin Campus.
Spend an evening with the Sierra College Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony, under the direction of Greg McLaughlin, plus special guests the Mira Loma High School Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Mike McAllister, for a program of traditional and contemporary band music including "Overture for Band," by Felix Mendelssohn, "Arabesque," by Samuel Hazo, "Irish Tune from County Derry," by Percy Grainger, Adam Gorb's "Eine Kleine Yiddishe Ragmusik," and "Slava!," by Leonard Bernstein.
The Sierra College Rocklin Campus is located at 5000 Rocklin Road, Rocklin CA. Admission for this concert is $6 student/senior and $10 general. Tickets are available at the door. All proceeds benefit the Sierra College Music Department. There is a $3 parking fee on campus. Parking permits can be purchased at machines located within the campus parking lot.
