Spring Jazz Invitational Concert April 30th in Rocklin
Rocklin- The Sierra College Music Department is proud to present a Spring Jazz Invitational Concert on Wednesday, April 30th, 7:30pm in Dietrich Theatre on the Sierra College Rocklin Campus.
Come share an evening of big band swing and contemporary jazz with the Sierra College Jazz Ensemble, directed by Greg McLaughlin, and Jazz Ensembles from Lincoln High School and Placer High School, plus very special guests the Sacramento Jazz Orchestra. Songs to be performed include "Stompin at the Savoy," by Benny Goodman, "Prelude to a Kiss," by Duke Ellington," and Horace Silver's "Song for My Father."
The Sierra College Rocklin Campus is located at 5000 Rocklin Road, Rocklin CA. Admission for this concert is $6 student/senior and $10 general. Tickets are available at the door. All proceeds benefit the Sierra College Music Department. There is a $3 parking fee on campus. Parking permits can be purchased at machines located within the campus parking lot.
