Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the residence and stole miscellaneous property. The burglary occurred sometime 04/21-04/23 between 1600-1500 hours.
Vehicle Burglary - 2100 block Sunset Boulevard
Unknown suspect(s) entered a locked trailer and stole landscaping equipment. The burglary occurred on 04/24 between 0945-1045 hours.
Petty Theft - From Vehicle - 2200 block Wild Plains Circle
Unknown suspect(s) removed items from an unlocked vehicle. Occurred sometime between 1200 hours on 4-24-14 and 0800 hours on 4-25-14.
Vehicle Burglary - 3800 block Atherton Road
Unknown suspect(s) sIphoned gas out of a vehicle. The victim reported this has been an ongoing problem with the latest incident believed to have occurred at 0424 hours on 4-25-14 based on an alarm system.
Grand Theft From Vehicles - Catalytic Converters stolen
5600 block Montclair Circle
5200 block Sierra College Blvd
Unknown suspects removed catalytic converters overnight between 4-26-14 and 4-27-14.
Vandalism, Disorderly Conduct - 6000 block Stanford Ranch Road
On 04/23/2014 at about 2009 hours, officers responded to the 6000 block of Stanford Ranch Road for a subject that was intoxicated and had just broken a credit card machine. Officers arrived and quickly located the subject in the area. He was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail.

Outside Agency Assist - 5200 block Rocklin Road
On 04/24/2014 at about 0154 hours, officers responded to the 5200 block of Rocklin Road to assist with the search and apprehension of a murder suspect from Sacramento. The suspect was taken into custody without incident later in the morning.
Under The Influence Of A Controlled Substance - 6700 block Five Star Blvd
On 04/24/2014 at about 1443 hours, officers responded to a subject possibly under the influence in the 6700 block of Five Star Boulevard. Officers arrived and determined the subject was in fact under the influence of a controlled substance. She was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges.

Residential Burglary - 5400 block Ruhkala Road
On 04/24/2014 at about 1746 hours, officers responded to the 5400 block of Ruhkala Road for a residential burglary in progress. Officers arrived and located the suspect still inside the residence. The suspect was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges.

Possession Of Stolen Property/Possession Of Marijuana/Probation Violation / Misdemeanor Warrant - 2500 block Villa Serena Circle
Officers attempted to serve an arrest warrant at the above address. The named person on the warrant was not at the address but a third party was contacted and found to be in possession of stolen credit cards and marijuana and was listed as a wanted person out of Sacramento.
Arrested: Stephen Brousseau, 46 years old, from Sacramento
Possession Of Controlled Substance / Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia / Petty Theft - 5400 block Crossings Drive
Loss Prevention personnel watched as the suspect selected merchandise and concealed it in his clothing. The suspect exited the store and made no attempt to pay for the concealed merchandise. The suspect was detained and police responded. A search of the suspect's vehicle revealed a small amount of heroin which the suspect admitted belonged to him.
Arrested: Cameron Chapman, 22 years old, from Rocklin
Grand Theft / Embezzlement - 5600 block Pacific Street
A store employee was suspected of processing fraudulent customer returns in order to pocket the cash. Loss Prevention conducted an internal investigation and contacted police when they gathered enough information to show the employee had been embezzling money since Dec of 2013.
Arrested: Jeff Jacobsen, 25 years old, from N. Highlands
Damage/Destroy Wireless Device / Trespass - 4800 block Pacific Street
The suspect was admonished several times prior not to return to the address because of his disruptive behavior. He returned on 4-26-14 and was asked to leave. When the suspect failed to leave, the victim started to call for the police. The suspect grabbed the victim's cell phone and damaged it while dissuading the victim from calling the police.
