Roseville Community Shredding and E-Waste Day
The next Roseville Community Shredding and E-Waste day will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at Mahany Park, 1545 Pleasant Grove Boulevard.
Drive up and hand over your disposables, and they'll take care of the rest.
E-waste is recycled by SIMS Recycling Solutions, an international recycling company with a sorting and shredding facility here in Roseville.
Bring your sensitive documents (old bank and credit card statements, old medical records and the like), and have up to three file boxes shredded for free. We urge you to safely shred your own personal and business files, and not just put them in the garbage can intact.
Thieves regularly "dumpster-dive," looking through trash for people's personal identifying information, which they then use for fraudulent purposes.
