Matt Redding Memorial Golf Tournament 2014
Roseville, CA -- The ninth annual Matt Redding Memorial Golf Tournament will take place Monday, June 16, at Morgan Creek Golf Club in Roseville.
Cost is $145 per person, which includes green fees, cart, range balls, barbecue lunch, and awards dinner that features a raffle, silent auction and auctioneer. Dinner only is available for $35 per person.
Registration begins at 11 a.m., and lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The shotgun start begins at 1 p.m. The sit-down dinner includes bacon-wrapped Filet, Chicken Marsala, baked potato, vegetable and Cranberry/Apple Strudel for dessert.
A popular Rocklin Police Officer, Matt Redding tragically died while on duty in October 2005 when he was struck and killed by a vehicle that was driven by an intoxicated driver.
All proceeds go to the nonprofit Matt Redding Foundation, which supports education in Protective Services and provides financial support each year to graduating seniors at seven local high schools - Del Oro, Whitney, Rocklin, Victory, Roseville, Oakmont and Woodcreek. It also provides scholarships to Sierra College and William Jessup University each year.
