Crime Highlights

Residential Burglary - 5400 block of Ruhkala Road (Case #14-125-6)
Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's residence which was not being lived in and stole a food mixer.  The burglary occurred sometime between 04/29 and 05/04.

Commercial Burglary - 4500 Block of Granite Dr. (Case #14-125-08)
Unknown suspect(s) entered a tool storage shed located on the property by breaking the lock. It is unknown at this time what was taken. The burglary occurred between 05-02-2014 to 05-05-2014.

Residential Burglary - 6100 Block of Sunset Blvd. (Case #14-126-02)
Unknown suspect(s) pried open the washing machine and dryer in the laundry room and stole the money out of the coin boxes.  The theft occurred between 2200 hours on 05-05-2014 and 0700 at 05-06-2014.

Residential Burglary - 4800 Block of Echo Ridge Dr.  (Case #14-126-11)
Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's locked residence by force and stole jewelry and other items. The burglary and theft occurred on 05-06-2014 sometime between 0630 and 1800 hours.

Possession Of A Controlled Substance, Driving Under The Influence Of Drugs, Driving On A Suspended License
Pacific St / Rocklin Rd.             (Case #14-125-14)
On 05/05/2014 at about 1955 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop for a CVC violation and erratic driving and upon further investigation arrested a subject for driving under the influence of narcotics and for driving with a suspended license. A search of his person once at the Rocklin PD detention cell revealed a useable amount of methamphetamine. He was later booked at the PCSO jail for the listed charges. Arrested: Michael Frazer, 30 years old, from Lincoln 

Burglary, Bringing A Controlled Substance Into A Jail, Possession Of A Controlled Substance, Possession Of Burglary Tools, False Id To A Police Officer, Outstanding Warrants
5400 Block of Crossings Dr.              (Case#14-126-08)
On 05/06/2014 at about 1712 hours, officers responded to a report of a shoplifter in custody.  Officers arrived and determined the female suspect was giving a false name to investigating officers.  When her true name was discovered, it revealed she had several outstanding warrants for her arrest.  The suspect was transported to the Placer County Jail where she attempted to bring controlled substances into the jail.  The suspect was booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges. Arrested: Jamie Safrans, 27 years old, from Rancho Cordova

Assault With Deadly Weapon, Elder Abuse, Damage Or Destroy A Phone Line
2700 Block of Tahoe Vista Ct.            (Case #14-126-09)
On 05/06/2014 at about 1928 hours, officers responded to a physical fight in the 2700 block of Tahoe Vista Court.  Officers arrived and determined that the suspect had choked and assaulted his elderly land lord.  When the land lord attempted to call the police, the suspect took her cell phone from her.  The suspect was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges.  Probation Violation, Under The Influence Of A Controlled Substance, False Id To A Police Officer
1000 Block of Sunset Blvd.                (Case #14-126-14)
On 05/06/2014 at about 2117 hours, officers responded the 1000 block of Sunset Boulevard for a suspicious male subject that had locked himself in the female restroom.  Officers arrived and determined the suspect was under the influence of a controlled substance.  The suspect was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges. Possession Of A Stolen Vehicle,False Id To A Police Officer, Probation Violation,Vehicle Accident
Coronado Wy and Sunset Blvd.              (Case#14-126-15)
On 05/06/2014 at about 2216 hours, officers responded to a three vehicle collision in the area of Sunset Boulevard and Coronado Way.  One of the vehicles involved in the collision was reported stolen from Sacramento.  The driver of the vehicle was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges. Arrested: Clarence Miller, 22 years old, from Sacramento

Driving Under The Influence, Hit And Run With Property Damage
Pacific St and Sunset Blvd.                   (Case #14-127-01)
On 05/07/2014 at about 0219 hours, officers responded to a single vehicle collision in the area of Sunset Boulevard and Pacific Street.  Officers arrived on scene, but the driver of the vehicle had fled.  Officers located the driver a short distance from the collision and determined he was driving under the influence.  The suspect was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges. Arrested: Spencer Lack, 21 Years old, from Rocklin 

Willful Cruelty To A Child, Resisiting Arrest
4800 Block of Grove St.                      (Case#14-127-07)
On 05/07/2014 at about 1420 hours, officers responded to the 4800 block of Grove Street for a report of a verbal argument between a male and female.  Officers arrived but the female would not answer the door.  The male subject fled out of the back of the residence, but was apprehended by officers.  Both suspects were arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges. Arrested: Isaac Hoelle, 33 years old, from Rocklin, and Shawna Reis, 22 years old, from Rocklin

2000 Block of Coppervale Cir.                (Case#14-127-11)
On 05/07/2014 at about 2007 hours, officers contacted the suspect in the 2000 block of Coppervale Circle.  During a search of his person, officers located controlled substances.  The suspect was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges. Possession Of A Controlled Substance, Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Public Intoxication
4400 Block of Pacific St.                          (Case#14-129-01)
On 05/09/2014 at about 0010 hours, officers responded to the 4400 block of Pacific Street for a suspicious person and vehicle.  Officers arrived and located a male subject associated with the vehicle who was drunk in public.  When officers checked the vehicle, a female subject was found sleeping inside.  She was found to be in possession of controlled substances and narcotics paraphernalia.  Both suspects were arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail. Arrested: Amber Waldon, 27 years old, Grass Valley, and Leslie Schofield, 33 years old, Grass Valley.

Robbery, Burglary, Conspiracy To Commit Crime, Assault With Deadly Weapon
5400 Block of Crossings Drive                    (Case #14-129-6)
Two suspects entered a commercial establishment and one of them concealed a bottle of alcohol in his pants.  The two then left the store without paying and Loss Prevention attempted to stop them.  A physical altercation occurred and one of the suspects took the loss prevention officers phone by force.  The two suspects fled into the parking lot and a customer tried to stop the suspect who took the phone.  That suspect then struck the customer with a 2x4 in the arm and continued to flee towards Sierra College Blvd.  Officers arrived on scene and apprehended the two suspects. Arrested: Kory Johnson, 23 years old, of Loomis, and Bradley Rondeau, 20 years old, of Loomis.

Sales Of Methamphetamine, Possess Stolen Property, Possess Loaded Weapon, Felon In Possession Of Firearm
5400 Block of Crossings Drive                      (Case 14-129-14)
Officer's responded to the report of a theft at a commercial establishment.  Upon their arrival, Asset Protection had two subjects detained for a theft.  Officer's determined they had driven to the location in a silver Infinity.  During a probation search of their vehicle, Officer's located a loaded stolen Glock handgun, 15.11 grams of methamphetamine, $760 in cash and a scale. Both subjects were booked into the Placer County Jail. Arrested: Natasha Wolfert, 26 years old, Auburn, and Adam Duncan, 33 years old, Auburn.

Vandalism, Public Intoxication
6300 Block of Pacific Street                         (Case #14-131-3)
Reporting party observed a male subject throwing and placing large rocks/cinderblocks in the roadway of northbound Pacific Street south of Woodside Drive.  A vehicle traveling northbound ran over the cinderblocks causing damage to his vehicle.  Within a few minutes of the call a subject matching the description provided by the reporting party was located a short distance away.  An in field show up was conducted where the reporting party positively ID'd the subject as the person responsible.  The subject was arrested for vandalism and public intoxication. Arrested: Wesley Winstead, 18 years old, Lincoln.
