Dog Found Dead: Rocklin Man Arrested for Animal Cruelty


On May 14, 2014, at 8:49am, the Rocklin Police Department responded to the 6000 block of Woodside Drive on the report of animal cruelty. 

When officers arrived, they found a deceased dog. 

According to the owner of the animal, her roommate was upset that her dogs were barking.  The roommate went to the backyard of the residence and returned a few moments later.  When the owner of the animal went to check on her dogs, she found that one of them was bleeding from the head and was deceased.  

 Rocklin police officers and an animal control officer investigated the allegations and arrested Cody McKie for animal cruelty.  McKie was booked on the below listed charge.
