Rocklin Shutters Water Parks During Drought

water-park.jpg

Rocklin, CA - The heat is on.  Unfortunately, one fun and highly anticipated method to cool off will not be available to Rocklin residents in 2014.

Sadly for many youngsters and their sweaty parents, the City of Rocklin has shuttered the water play areas of local parks to conserve water.

You can give thanks to the ongoing statewide drought affecting our Golden State.

Roseville's public pools along with Sunsplash just might see an increase in business from Rocklin residents in an effort to cool down during another one of Placer County's hot summers.
