Unknown suspect(s) vandalized school district property and forced entry into a maintenance shed. The burglary and vandalism occurred sometime 05/23/2014-05/27/2014.
Grand Theft - 3000 block Stanford Ranch Road
Unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a lap top computer. The theft occurred on 05/26/2014 between 1400-1600 hours.
Commercial Burglary - 5000 block Rocklin Road
Unknown suspect(s) entered a museum and stole cash. The burglary occurred sometime 05/27/2014-05/28/2014 between 1600-0830 hours.
Identity Theft, Make A Fictious Check - 4200 block Pacific Street
An unknown suspect took a forged check to a check cashing business. The suspect was unable to cash the check and fled prior to being located by officers. The attempted fraud occurred on 05/28/2014.
Grand Theft - 3400 block Argonaut Avenue
Unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and stole lawn equipment. The theft occurred on 05/29/2014 between 0945-1000 hours.
Petty Theft - 2100 Block Sunset Blvd
Unknown suspect(s) entered unlocked Placer County transit bus and cut the ramp lift control box with unknown tool. Suspect(s) then removed the control from the bus and fled the scene. The theft occurred on 05/30/2014 between 0915-0945 hours.
Grand Theft - West Oaks and Stanford Ranch
Victim left a 1,200 pound hydraulic breaker at the job site for approximately seven (7) days. When Victim returned to the site, he discovered the hydraulic breaker missing. The breaker was valued at more than $11,000. The theft occurred on 05/23/2014 to 05/30/2014 between 1200-1218 hours.
Identity Theft, Make A Fictious Check - 4000 block Argonaut Ave
Unknown suspect(s) created a check containing Victim's checking account information. The suspect(s) then passed the check at a Lowes Home Improvement store in Chino, CA. The case is still under investigation. The checked was cashed on 05/24/at 1552 hours.
Petty Theft - 6600 Block Lonetree Blvd
An unknown suspect entered a sporting goods store, selected property, entered a hunting blind tent display to conceal himself, and then exited the blind with no property in hand. The theft occurred on 05/14/2014 at 1454hours.
Petty Theft - 5400 block Crossings Drive
A known and identified suspect entered a supermarket, selected multiple items which she did not pay for and made a large purchase on other items. The suspect bypassed the point of sale with unpaid merchandise. The suspect was stopped by store Loss Prevention and given a written promise to appear. This theft occurred on 06/02/2014 at 2349 hours.
Burglary, Vandalism - 5100 block Commons Drive
Unknown Suspect(s) entered a construction area where electrical wiring was being installed and removed copper electrical wire. The suspect(s) removed the copper wire valued at approximately $600, and damaged the electrical wires valued at approximately $9,400. This vandalism and theft occurred on 06/01/2014 to 06/02/2014 between 1200 to 0800 hours.
Driving Under The Influence, Hit And Run Collision With Property Damage
4400 block Rocklin Road
On 05/28/2014 at about 1811 hours, officers responded to a report of a vehicle that had crashed in the drive through of a restaurant in the 4400 block of Rocklin Road. The driver fled the scene of the collision but was later located by officers. The driver of the vehicle was determined to be under the influence. The suspect was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail. Arrested: Debra Rosenhagen, 45, from Rocklin
500 block Menlo Drive
On 05/30/2014, at about 0904 hours, officers investigated a forgery and embezzlement that occurred in the 500 block of Menlo Drive. An employee of the business issued himself company checks and forged managers name on signature line. The suspect then cashed several checks for more than $28,500. The suspect was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges. Arrested: Donald Kemplen, 40, from Roseville
