 Crime Highlights

Commercial Burglary - 5000 block Rocklin Road
Unknown suspect(s) broke the front window to the business and stole cash.  The burglary occurred sometime during the night of 06/08-06/09.

Vehicle Theft / Stolen Vehicle - 6600 block Lonetree Boulevard
Unknown suspect(s) stole the victim's Chevrolet car.  The vehicle theft occurred on 06/09/2014 sometime between 1415-1940 hours.

Vandalism - 3800 block Rawhide Road
Unknown suspect(s) forced their way into a vacant home through the garage roll up door.  The vandalism occurred sometime between 05/14/2014-05/26/2014 and was reported late.

Vandalism - 5900 block Springview Drive
A glass window was broken by unknown suspect.  Investigation revealed the window was probably broken by a BB or pellet gun.  Occurred on 6-12-14 between 1200 and 1230 hours.

Petty Theft - From Vehicle - 4100 block Paige Court
Unknown suspect stole a wallet from an unlocked vehicle.  Occurred overnight between 6-14-14 and 6-15-14.

Burglary Public Place / Shoplifting - 5400 block Crossings Drive
On 06/10/2014 at about 1549 hours, officers responded to the 5400 block of Crossings Drive for a shoplifter that was in custody.  The subsequent investigation determined that a burglary occurred.  The suspect was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges. Arrested: Daniel Gregory, 23, from Lincoln 

Burglary Public Place / Shoplifting, Possession Of Switchblade Knife, Tresspassing, Warrants - 5400 block Crossings Drive
On 06/10/2014 at about 1917 hours, officers responded to the 5400 block of Crossings Drive for a shoplifter that was in custody.  The subsequent investigation determined that a burglary occurred.  Additionally, the suspect was found to be in possession of a switchblade knife and was trespassing on the business property.  She also had three warrants for her arrest.  The suspect was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges. Arrested: Ashley Vega, 26, from Sacramento

Residential Burglary - 5900 block Springview Drive
On 06/11/2014 at about 1326 hours, officers responded to the 5900 block of Springview Drive for a residential burglary that had just occurred.  The suspect cut a screen to an enclosed patio and entered an apartment area.  The suspect was located in the area by responding officers and taken into custody.  The suspect was booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges. Arrested: Tyler Barber, 18, from Rocklin

Controlled Substances Possession For Sale, Possession Of Narcotic Controlled Substances, Possession Of Narcotic Paraphernalia -5000 block El Don Drive
On 06/11/2014 at about 2325 hours, officers responded to a report of intoxicated subjects causing a disturbance inside of an apartment complex.  Officers arrived and located a suspicious vehicle occupied by two subjects.  One of the subjects was found to be in possession of a large amount of controlled substance pills, narcotic controlled substances, and narcotic paraphernalia.  It appeared from the investigation that the suspect was selling controlled substances.  The suspect was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges. Arrested: Charles Loper, 22, from Rocklin

Petty Theft - Residential - 5100 block 3rd Street
On 6-12-14 at approximately 0715 hours, officers responded to a report of a stolen mountain bike from a residential carport.  While investigating, officers were called away to a nearby address where a suspicious person was reported jumping over a fence into a backyard.  Upon responding to the area, the victim's bike was located propped up against the fence and another resident reported finding a suspect breaking into his trailer.  Officers detained the suspect who admitted to stealing the bike and jumping the fence. Arrested: Tyrone Scritchfield, 43, of Citrus Heights

Dui, Willful Cruelty To Child, Open Container Of Alcohol In Vehicle

On 6-12-14 at approximately 2159 hours, officers responded to a report of a reckless vehicle suspected of possibly being DUI.  Officers located the vehicle as it travelled in the bike lane and then swerved across three lanes of traffic.  The driver was contacted and displayed the objective symptoms of intoxication.  A small child was located in the back seat.  The driver failed to perform standardized field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. Arrested: Alexa Williams, 24, of Rocklin

3300 block Parkside Drive
The victim reported her boyfriend brandished a knife and threatened to kill her during an argument in the car.  The suspect was booked into jail on the above charges.  Occurred on 6-13-14 at 1033 hours.

Battery On A Person
400 block Ridgeview Circle
On 6-15-14 at 1400 hours, a family argument over the suspect's criminal behavior escalated into a physical fight between the victim and suspect.  The victim sustained a physical injury and desired prosecution of the suspect. Arrested: Michael Owens, 45, of Rocklin

Willful Cruelty To Child, Under The Influence Of A Controlled Substance, Possession Of Narcotic Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Warrant
3700 block Abby Court
On 6-15-14 at approximately 2354 hours, officers responded to a 911 call where screaming could be heard between a man and a woman.  Upon arriving on scene, both suspects were contacted and were determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance with one of the suspects admitting to smoking methamphetamine hours earlier.  The house was infested with cockroaches and the suspect's young children were sleeping on the floor in the main room.  Both suspects were arrested and booked into jail while their children were placed in the care of CPS. Arrested: Michael Pasco, 42, of Daly City and  Anne Aman, 39, of Rocklin

Under the influence / Possession of Paraphernalia Under the influence / Misd Warrant Dui, Accident - Property Damage
Whitney Oaks Drive at Whitney Ranch Parkway
On 6-17-14 at approximately 0128 hours, Officers responded to a possible traffic accident at the intersection of Whitney Oaks Drive and Whitney Ranch Parkway.  Upon their arrival, they observed a white compact sedan that had driven through the fence at the end of the roadway.  Resting on the roof of the car was the City of Rocklin light pole the vehicle knocked down in the accident.  Officers contacted the driver, identified as Brent McCluskey of Rocklin.  McCluskey showed the objective signs of alcohol intoxication and after failing to satisfactorily complete a series of demonstrated field sobriety tests he was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.  He was booked at the Placer County Jail in Auburn.  Arrested: Brent McCluskey, 29 of Rocklin
