Crime Highlights

Vandalism - 6200 block Flamingo Way
Unknown suspect(s) broke out a window on the victim's vehicle.  The vandalism occurred sometime 06/16-06/17 between 2200-0730 hours.

Grand Theft - 2200 block Wild Plains Circle
Unknown suspect(s) stole jewelry from the victim's residence.  The theft occurred sometime around 06/10/2014.

 Grand Theft - 4500 block Stebbing Court
Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's unlocked vehicle and stole electronics equipment.  The theft occurred sometime 01/22/2014-01/23/2014 between 2000-1300 hours but was reported late.

Grand Theft - 2600 block Sammy Way
A possibly known and identified suspect stole the victim's cell phone and lap top computer from her apartment.  The case is still under investigation.  The theft occurred on 06/19/2014 at about 0210 hours.

Grand Theft - 4700 block Granite Drive
Unknown suspect(s) stole cash from the victim's work locker.  The theft occurred on 06/18/2014 between 1130-1430 hours.

Vehicle Burglary - 4600 block Gatwick Way
Unknown suspect(s) broke a window to the victim's vehicle and stole personal property.  The burglary occurred sometime 06/18-06/19 between 2030-0645 hours. 

Vandalism - 4600 block Longview Drive
Unknown suspect(s) broke a window to the victim's vehicle and rummaged through the car.  At this time, it does not appear that anything was stolen.  The vandalism occurred sometime 06/18-06/19 between 1900-1300 hours.  

Vehicle Theft / Stolen Vehicle - 2300 block Sunset Boulevard
Unknown suspect(s) stole the victim's car while he was inside of a business.  The vehicle theft occurred on 06/18/2014 between 2030-2220 hours.

Vandalism - 2700 block Breen Drive
Passerby reported a broken window to one of the classrooms that they observed when passing by the school.  When officers arrived, they determined the room to be secure and a hole in the window.  This was reported on 06/22/14 and it is unknown when it actually occurred.

Silver Alert / Missing Adult (*Located*) 6400 block Wisp Court
On 06/18/2014 at about 6:34PM, officers responded to the 6400 block of Wisp Court for an elderly adult that had walked away from a care facility.  An extensive search was conducted utilizing a CHP airplane and a Placer County Sheriff's Office Canine.  However, the missing adult was not located.  CHP was contacted and a "Silver Alert" was activated.  On 06/19/2014, another exhaustive search was completed.  At about 5:40PM, the elderly adult was located in a nearby greenbelt area by members of the Placer County Mountain Search and Rescue Team.  For more information, please refer to press releases.

Burglary In A Public Place (Shoplifting), Petty Theft With Priors, Violation Of Probation 5100 block Commons Drive
On 06/19/2014 at about 7:17 hours, officers responded to the 5100 block of Commons Drive for a shoplifter in custody.  Through the subsequent investigation it was determined that a burglary had occurred.  The suspect was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail on the listed charges.  Arrested: Tanya Duran, 36, from Roseville 

Possession Of Controlled Substance/ Possession Of Marijuana Over  28.5g  3500 block Park Drive
Officers responded to the above address on a report of a male subject who was believed to be in possession of narcotics and paraphernalia.  Officers located the subject and located miscellaneous prescription pills and more than 28.5 grams of marijuana. Arrested: Trevor Pearson, 28 from Rocklin 

Possession Of Controlled Substance / Under The Influence Of Controlled Substance 4200 block Pacific Street
The suspect approached officers while holding a large rock behind his back.  Officers directed the man to drop the rock and noted he was sweating profusely and acting strange.  The man was detained and determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance.  A search incident to arrest revealed a small amount of methamphetamine. Arrested: Daniel Bloomfield, 52 from Sacramento

Assault With A Deadly Weapon 4400 block Pacific Street
On Sunday June 22, 2014 at about 1:08 AM, officers from the Rocklin Police Department responded to a disturbance call in the 4400 block Pacific Street. Several callers to the Rocklin Police Communications Center reported an altercation had taken place that ended with several shots being fired. By the time officers arrived on scene, all the involved parties had fled.  Evidence at the scene supported the initial reports that a shooting had occurred. There are no known gunshot victims at this time.  This case is currently is still under investigation.

Trespass / Petty Theft  / Possession Of Narcotic Paraphernalia 4400 block Rocklin Road
Hotel manager called police to report a subject on the property after he had been admonished several times over the last weeks not to trespass.  Officers contacted the subject and placed him under private person's arrest.  A search incident to arrest revealed the subject stole miscellaneous items from the hotel. Arrested: Phillip Daley, 32 from Rocklin
