ASR Restaurant and Lounge Coming to Roseville
Roseville, CA: Roseville area professionals will have an upscale new choice for wining and dining clients, talking shop and networking with other professionals, or even closing business deals come August 2014.
ASR Restaurant and Lounge, an extension of Fresno's incredibly successful The Standard, will offer not only an impeccable restaurant experience, but also a unique lounge area; something that does not currently exist in Placer County.
Guests can choose to either dine in a spacious and gorgeous dining room or enjoy small bites and relaxing conversation upstairs in the lounge or in the 2,500 square feet outdoor patio area, also featuring private cabanas. This unique concept mixes a vibe of night club (without dancing) and high end restaurant, sure to be a welcome experience for local professionals.
ASR Restaurant and Lounge will feature four different menus: Bar and Happy Hour, featuring handcrafted specialty cocktails, a Lounge menu with small plates for either sharing or for those who enjoy lighter fare, and of course the restaurant's lunch & dinner menus.
Behind the scenes stands a truly professional and outstanding executive team that brings phenomenal industry experience to this new facility. Owners Harwinder and Steve are proud to extend Steve's concept, The Standard in Fresno. The networking aspect of the lounge is inspired by their brother Sat Bisla, the founder of the highly acclaimed music industry networking convention, Musexpo.
Dazzling in the kitchen is Chef Vincent Paul Alexander, famous for his cuisine at Summit Restaurant Harrah's Lake Tahoe, Slocum House, Firehouse Restaurant, Wolfgang Puck, and more. Running the front of the house will be General Manager Monica Lucas, whose experience includes managing and running the house at McCormick & Schmick's and Crawdads on the River. The still expanding management team so far includes asst. managers Anthony Solorio, former Asst GM with PF Changs and Fred Gardner who spent 7 years with Ruth's Chris as well as La Provence, Chops and Fats restaurants.
The ASR in the name of the restaurant and lounge is the namesake of owner Harwinder Bisla's three children: Amran, Simran, and Reena. "How can I let my children know I love them more than anything in the world? I'll show them with their names," said Bisla.
Bisla is proud to offer a destination for professionals to use primarily for networking. Says Bisla, "You want to love what you do and you want to be around people you love to be around. You want to love what you do and you want to be around people you love to be around." The venue was designed by an all women architectural and design firm LJ2 Interiors in Roseville.
ASR Restaurant and Lounge will employ a full staff of nearly 200. Hiring for non-management position will start July 8th. Opening is slated for the week of August,11th 2014.
