Grateful Dead in Roseville July 17th
The Grateful Dead return for the fourth annual Meet-Up at the Movies in Roseville on Thursday, July 17 at 7:30pm.
(Last year's meetup drew a larger audience than many current movies with their famed 72' Veneta, OR show.)
This year's Meet-Up takes us back to April 21, 1972 to see the the Dead's TV studio performance on Bremen, Germany's Beat Club show which features a condensed version of their "typical" Europe '72 concert. Many Deadheads view Europe 72' as one of the great Dead tours. (video clip above is 4 days earlier from their April 17, 1972 show)
While we're partial to the Spring 77' tour, many fans will enjoy seeing band member Ron "Pigpen" McKernan in one of his final shows.
The show runs approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes and includes the following setlist.
2. Playing In The Band
3. Mr. Charlie
5. One More Saturday Night
6. Playing In The Band
7. Beat It On Down the Line
10. The Other One
