Placer United Soccer Claims San Diego Surf Cup

The Placer United 97B Red soccer team claimed the San Diego Surf Cup with a 3-1 victory over Marin FC 97 Blue in the Men’s U18 Super bracket to claim the the San Diego Surf Cup.

The soccerloco San Diego Surf Cup which bills itself as a "summer showcase for youth soccer’s Best of the Best", recently held their 34th Annual tournament.

According to soccerloco site, one of the main purposes of the cup is to link stellar athletes to a scholastic and enriching future after high school. 

The tournament attracts thousands of visitors and hundreds of college coaches and scouts to the San Diego Polo Club in sunny, southern California.

The U-16 to U18 was held July 26- 28 and the U-10 to U-15 will be held August 2- 4. The tournament features both young men and women.
