10 Year Old Girl Abducted in Carmichael

The Sacramento Sheriff's Department Child Abuse Detectives are investigating an incident that occurred in the early morning hours on Sunday, August 31, 2014, within the 5000 block of Adelaide Way in Carmichael.

At approximately 3:00AM, an unknown white male adult entered a residence through an unlocked door and removed a child under the age of ten years old from the residence against her will.  The child was taken to a wooded area near the residence and released without further incident.  The child was able to return home without serious injury.   

The suspect is described as a white male adult in his late teens to early 20's.  He has short brown hair combed back and dark brown eyes.  He stands 5'9"-6'0" tall and weighs between 120-160 pounds.  He was clean shaven with "healing" acne marks and was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
