Roseville Capital Investment Firm Helping Raise Money for 24 Charities
Roseville, Calif. - DCA Partners, a Roseville-based capital investment firm, announced that it has united 24 Sacramento area executives to raise up to $150,000 for 24 local charities in an inaugural charity golf tournament scheduled for October 2 - October 4.
Christened as the Sacramento Capital Cup, the three-day tournament adopts the historic Ryder Cup format - two teams competing over a three-day period - and culminates in a public final round at Granite Bay Golf Club on Sunday, October 4, 2015.
"We are excited to bring together such an influential group of leaders in the spirit of making a difference for our community," said Curt Rocca, managing partner at DCA. "The real winner of the tournament isn't the team that raises the trophy; it's the 24 represented charities that will receive a sizeable share of money to continue doing the amazing things they do."
Each of the 24 Sacramento area executives participating in the Sacramento Capital Cup tournament will raise funds for a designated charity of their choosing. In addition, the winning team of golfers will share a $50,000 grand prize to split among their charities.
The two teams of executives will be randomly selected by team captains Curt Rocca of DCA Partners and Kerry Gordon of Moss Adams LLP.
An announcement of the teams, participating executives, designated charities and fundraising website will be made on Tuesday, August 18.
